When I was little, my Mum's pet name for me was Murtle and my Dad's was Chickpea. Putting the two together just made sense.

I've been snipping up and cutting out magazines since I was 6 years old and I guess I never really stopped. 

Teetering towers of books and magazines fill my studio. I use them, my hands, sharp scissors and my trusty glue stick to create collages.         

A lot of my work involves cats and dolls........ cat heads on doll bodies, doll heads on human bodies..........

After purchasing a pile of vintage nudist magazines I started to experiment with the gorgeous, sometimes hilarious images inside and have now created about a dozen rather racey new collages. I tried to list one of them in my Etsy store only to find that Etsy does not allow nudity, how lame!

So I took on the task of building this website in order to share and sell my work. It's a little wonky but I think it does the trick.
